What's New in BigBlueButton 3.0.31

New Client Setting: Hide Guest Lobby Position

Administrators can now disable the display of guest lobby position with a new client setting. This gives institutions more control over the guest experience by removing the position indicator from the lobby interface.

Raised Hand Indicator for Audio-Only Participants

The video provider now shows a raised hand indicator on tiles belonging to audio-only participants. Previously, only video tiles displayed the hand icon; this fix ensures that participants who join without a camera are also visible when they signal.

Improved Chat Reply Previews

When replying to a message that contains a link, the reply preview now correctly preserves the text before the link. This fix prevents truncated or missing context in the preview, making conversations easier to follow.
